Jaap Majoor is a pain\ter and also the father of PIC founder Mariska Majoor. Jaap had always hated the idea that his daughter worked in prostitution. He seldom talked about it; for him painting became a good outlet to work out his feelings in this case. In 1994 he made a series of paintings and drawings of women behind the windows. Part of this series can be viewed in the shop of the PIC and some of them are for sale. Don’t forget to admire the mural painted by Jaap in the store!
